Huayan × MetaX | Advancing Together in Computing Power, Reaching New Heights
Over the past three years, Huayan Group and MetaX, a leading Chinese domestic GPU company, have steadily deepened their partnership. From securing authorized distributor status in Asia-Pacific, to deploying Hong Kong’s first 1,000-GPU domestic computing cluster, and becoming MetaX’s national-level “Industry Ark” general distributor in mainland China, the two companies have worked together to accelerate the adoption of domestic computing power in education, scientific research, and healthcare. Looking ahead, they will continue to advance data center infrastructure, heterogeneous computing solutions, and liquid-cooled workstations, building a more reliable, efficient, and sustainable AI computing ecosystem.

2023
Huayan became an authorized distributor of MetaX in the Asia-Pacific region. From Shanghai’s iconic Bund, we set out with MetaX’s full range of GPUs, including the Yiyun and Xisi series, bringing Chinese computing power to a broader Asia-Pacific market.

2024
We deployed Hong Kong’s first 1,000-GPU cluster powered by domestic GPUs. Equipped with a 400G InfiniBand network and all-flash storage, the cluster brought together 1,000 Yiyun C500 and C550 GPUs to deliver powerful AI computing capabilities to university laboratories, hospital imaging centers, and government cloud platforms. Domestic GPUs were no longer just a promise of the future in research labs—they had become a powerful reality in the data center.

2025
Huayan was promoted to become MetaX’s general distributor for its “Industry Ark” business in mainland China. Education, scientific research, and healthcare became key areas of focus. From training large AI models and tackling complex research challenges to accelerating clinical decision-making, these applications can now take off on the computing infrastructure built by Huayan.
Three milestones, one consistent mission: bringing more powerful domestic GPUs to the scenarios where computing power is needed most. We have witnessed and contributed to the rapid acceleration of China’s domestic computing industry. Through real-world deployments, we are demonstrating that independent and controllable technology is more than a slogan—it is tangible technological strength.
Looking ahead, Huayan will continue to focus on data center development, heterogeneous computing solutions, and liquid-cooled workstations. Together with MetaX, we aim to make GPU computing more reliable, faster, and greener.
