Huayan Joins MetaX AI Chip Forum at WAIC 2025

On July 27, during the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2025, MetaX successfully hosted its AI Chip Forum at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. Under the theme “Bringing Computing Power Together to Open New Possibilities, Harnessing Open-Source Innovation to Shape the Future of AI,” the forum focused on AI chip innovation and industry integration. It brought together experts, scholars, and industry leaders from healthcare, education, finance, government and enterprise sectors, and scientific research to explore the evolution of computing power and new opportunities for real-world applications in the era of large AI models.

As MetaX’s strategic partner in the Asia-Pacific region and its highest-tier Industry Ark distributor, Huayan Group was invited to attend the event and contribute to shaping the future of the AI chip industry.

Healthcare AI in Focus: Eknow Agents Spark Industry Discussion

Professor Zhu Tongyu, Vice President of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, delivered a keynote address titled “AI + Healthcare: From Data Governance to Intelligent Systems.” He emphasized that successful medical AI implementation depends on structured data, closed-loop research workflows, and the development of intelligent tools. He also systematically introduced, for the first time, a three-tier agent architecture comprising “Department Agents, Hospital Agents, and Expert Agents,” and presented an AI Agent system solution developed on the Eknow model, attracting considerable attention from attendees.

Huayan Group is currently working closely with Professor Zhu’s team and the Eknow project to advance the deployment of AI agents in leading hospitals across China. Huayan has provided a customized AI computing platform for the project, supporting rapid prototyping and model optimization and helping translate intelligent healthcare concepts into practical applications.

Launch of the Yiyun C600: A New Era of High-Efficiency Computing

During the forum, MetaX officially unveiled its next-generation product, the Yiyun C600, a flagship domestic GPU. Building on the C500, the new chip delivers twice the performance, supports the CUDA ecosystem, and is compatible with mainstream large-model architectures and technologies such as Transformer and Diffusion. It is designed to establish an end-to-end computing infrastructure spanning edge devices to the cloud. The Yiyun C600 integrates high-capacity memory and mixed-precision computing capabilities, supports MetaXLink supernode expansion technology, and incorporates multiple layers of protection through ECC/RAS modules. These features provide a highly reliable computing foundation for critical sectors such as finance and government, while meeting the training and inference demands of next-generation generative AI. Its performance is positioned to compete with leading international flagship GPUs.

Looking ahead, Huayan will continue working with MetaX and Eknow project partners to build a healthcare AI foundation centered on “AI agents + domestic computing power + industry knowledge graphs,” accelerating the deep integration of domestic AI chips and the healthcare industry.
